Minuscule 2 - Les mandibules du bout du monde
Alors que l’hiver s’installe dans les montagnes du Mercantour, une très jeune coccinelle se laisse enfermer par accident à l’intérieur d’une boîte en carton remplie de pots de châtaignes. Elle se retrouve embarquée à destination de la Guadeloupe où elle va faire des rencontres surprenantes et affronter tous les dangers. Mais c’est sans compter sur son aïeul la Coccinelle qui a bien décidé de la retrouver et de la ramener à la maison saine et sauve.

The soundtrack was probably my favourite thing about the whole film, and Mathieu Lamboley has done a magnificent job with the original soundtrack; it’s whimsical, tonal and absolutely wonderful. Maybe this is where I should leave it in my memory - eyes closed, listening to the music and meeps, knowing where everything was heading and finding myself wanting to skip ahead. No doubt this would be more captivating for a bebe.
